The Bostons Project Annie and I found each other in 2007. Abandoned outside a shelter in Tennessee, she was skittish and fearful at just a year old. She's blossomed now–a playful pup, Annie loves to destroy toys, play ball, and true to the 'bully breed' in her, she needlessly defends our home without reservation. I didn't know what I was getting into when I brought home Murray after his second stay at the rescue. Expecting a mellow, mature dog, he still surprises me. Murray is the life of the party, a wannabe stunt dog, and my constant companion. He made fast friends with Annie, and now they're forever bonded. The Bostons is an ongoing project documenting my pups: their ever-evolving personalities and relationship with each other. --- Update: In mid-2014, I unexpectedly added a third Boston, Ollie, to the family. After rescuing him from the side of the road during a trip through rural North Carolina, I've been documenting the changing dynamic of the pack. The new photographs will serve as part of the next chapter in this funny, little story.
