#TravelsWithOllie: March Group Hike

To celebrate the beginning of spring, our fearless group of hikers headed to Leesylvania State Park in Virginia for an early morning adventure last Saturday. This was a "big dog" group, complete with an Irish Wolfhound/pony named Corby and a whole pack of hounds. Ollie held his own as the smallest one event though he was maybe a little grouchy with the early call time.
We began at the boat launch and hiked a 3 mile loop, connecting the Potomac and Lee's Woods trails. The sun shone bright and the squirrels took their leave as we romped through the woods getting to know each other and shooting Instagram-worthy #hikingwithdogs shots.
We made it back to the parking lot for a treat bonanza, group photo and subsequent naps. The next adventure will be April 14th at Sugarloaf Mountain, Maryland. Learn more + RSVP here.
